Spares & Repairs
Forged by the demands of hut-to-hut ski tours, challenging ascents, and big mountain lines, this ultralight, ultra-tough ski touring pack is armed with all the features you need for rigorous alpine use.
We recommend using this for:
Whether you’re tackling the Haute Route Ski Tour or launching a complex ascent, the Khroma 38 is the ultimate ski touring pack for when you need a stable load and plenty of space for kit. The ultra-tough Spectra® Ripstop fabric is made with fibres that are fifteen times stronger than steel gram for gram, so the pack will endure scrapes with sharp tools, rock, and ski edges without compromising on low weight. It’s also UV-resistant, essential for multiple days at high altitudes.
The close-fitting X-SHIELD™ back system distributes weight evenly to keep your load stable on both the up and the down, as well as featuring a snow-shedding back panel for those deep powder days. Every detail has been designed to make accessing your kit quick and easy, with a zipped back entry allowing you to reach gear at the bottom of the main compartment without emptying the whole pack. The large roll top provides extra storage space when you need to scale up your load, while a separate avalanche safety equipment compartment gives rapid access at the crucial moment.
Secure your gear on the boot pack using the A-frame carry for skis or splitboard, a detachable rope carry strap, and a HeadLocker ice axe attachment. A detachable helmet holder provides added volume and easy helmet access. Keep smaller essentials, such as snacks or sun cream, to hand in the drop pocket or the large hipbelt pocket.
