The Rival Short is a durable six-pocket cargo pant designed for daily use over the summer months. The tough mid-weight cotton/elastane fabric is breathable and stretchy, and has been enzyme-washed for a softer feel and a more casual, lived-in style. Cut for a regular fit with a 12-inch leg, a zip fly and belt loops, the Rival Shorts also feature an inner hanging loop for easy drying between day trips. With a pair of open hand pockets at the hips plus two button-fastened pockets at the rear and a pair of large cargo-style pockets on the thighs, they give you all the storage space you need for long days on the trail.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
