Water-resistant and quick drying, the Calient Shorts are lightweight, packable shorts well suited to multi-day trips trekking and hiking in warmer conditions.
Water-resistant and quick drying, the Calient shorts are ideal for summer alpine use in warmer conditions. Made from lightweight Matrix™ fabric, the UPF 30+ protects from the sun while the DWR treatment repels water during light showers.
Designed to have a slim fit, the Calient Shorts have a double snap waistband closure, zipped fly and a removable belt with low profile buckle. A single zipped thigh pocket and two zipped hand pockets will hold the essentials on a short hike, with the left-hand pocket also doubling as a stuff sack.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
