For a quick boost of warmth, the Cubit Stretch Down Vest is the perfect everyday gilet on a cold winter’s day. Giving a second life to quality down that might have otherwise ended up in landfill, the Cubit Stretch Down Vest is filled with heat trapping, 700FP recycled down.
Versatile, stylish, and functional this gilet is at home in town or on the trail. The Pertex®3D Weave Technology allows the baffles to be constructed from one piece of stretch fabric, without the need for stitching. This improves warmth and wind resistance and allows the torso to stretch and twist with you, offering great mobility for outdoor activities. The outer Pertex® Quantum fabric is breathable and weather resistant with a fluorocarbon free DWR finish, coping well with sudden showers and winter winds.
Lightweight and packable, it can be easily stashed in your pack and pulled out at the summit for that well-earned sandwich break. It has a durable YKK® VISLON® front zip with a soft, fleece lined chin guard, a snug down filled hood, and a flattering slim fit. Pertex® 3D Weave
This technology allows baffles to be woven into a single sheet of fabric, eliminating the need for stitching. Maximises the insulating performance and the reducing overall weight, it enables incredible stretch and freedom to move.

Fluorocarbon-Free DWR

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
