Efficient and comfortable, this slim-fitting fleece is perfect for winter adventures, mountaineering and alpinism. Built with over 90% recycled fabric, it’s body mapped for optimum performance.
The Ascendor Pull-On’s body mapped construction is designed to adapt more efficiently to your output and the conditions. A midweight, grid backed fleece is zoned to the torso, hips, shoulders, and upper arms and a lighter weight, micro grid backed fleece covers the centre hood, under and lower arms, and centre back. These two fabrics work differently, wicking, breathing, and drying more quickly in the high heat areas. When you’re working hard swinging ice tools, ascending steep slopes, or moving fast, the Ascendor is designed to regulate your temperature and keep you comfortable. So, you can keep moving, make progress without stops, and enjoy every minute.
It has a soft collar and deep, half-length zip for effective ventilation. Stretchy and slim fitting, it’s comfortable under other gear and fits easily under a harness with a longer length at the back to cover the hips. Low bulk and packable, it’s a dynamic layer suited to high energy ascents. How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use. See below for a general description of our fit categories:
Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
