With its versatile mid-weight fleece and Thermic™ stretch side panels, our new Women’s Capacitor Hoody is built to help you embrace the trail.
As part of our Hike range, the Women’s Capacitor Hoody is a fast-wicking stretch fleece midlayer, designed to keep you comfortable during fast-paced winter hikes, hut-to-hut treks and camping adventures. It is built from recycled brushed fleece with a tough, textured knit-face and slightly lighter Thermic™ stretch panels in the sides, sleeves and hood. This generates not just excellent warmth and breathability but also plenty of movement for high-tempo sport and a sleek fit for comfortable low-bulk layering. Designed as a fresh interpretation of the classic 200-weight fleece, it comes with a secure chest pocket and low-profile zipped hand pockets that sit comfortably beneath a backpack.
With its fast-drying, easy-care properties, its robust knit-face finish and its tailored fit, our new Women’s Capacitor Hoody is highly practical both as an everyday warmth boost and as a reliable winter midlayer for high-energy mountain sport.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use. See below for a general description of our fit categories:
Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
