If you need lightweight warmth on the go, the Women’s Pro Electron Vest is tough to beat. With advanced fabrics, zoned baffles and high-loft down, this technical down gilet is built for alpine climbers and year-round mountaineers.
The Women’s Electron Pro Vest is built from 20D Pertex® Quantum Pro ripstop nylon with a DWR coating for improved weather resistance. It uses zoned midi and micro baffle stitch-through construction, alongside 800FP down with a Nikwax® hydrophobic finish, for outstanding core warmth. Practical mountain features include elasticated easy-stretch armholes, an insulated collar, a zipped internal security pocket and an adjustable hem. They also include a pair of harness-friendly zipped hand pockets and a double-ended full-length YKK® Natulon zip. With its advanced fabrics, high-loft down and modest weight, the Women’s Electron Pro Vest packs into a compact stuff sack for the easiest possible carry.
While the Women’s Electron Pro Vest is a highly technical gilet, its portable warmth has very broad appeal. Whether on a casual winter walk or a tough mountain ascent, it comes into its own whenever rapid insulation is required.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
All garments are designed and fitted to suit their intended end use. See below for a general description of our fit categories:
Regular: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
