Built with 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro Most Breathable, the Latok Alpine GTX expertly balances lightweight protection and mobility, for comfort and confidence climbing the steepest rock and ice. Highly breathable while still offering that guaranteed wet weather protection, it easily deflects the worst of the weather and allows sweat and condensation to escape. Lighter in weight than our Latok Extreme GTX Jacket, it’s ideal for alpinists moving fast and counting every gram.
With input from our athletes and ambassadors, we worked hard to refine the Latok series’ sleeve articulation and arm lift to give you the best fit while spending hours swinging ice tools above your head. The protective TriPoint hood gives the perfect fit, mobility, and visibility, with and without a helmet. It has wind collar, face, and crown adjustment so you can completely customise the fit. The shock cord tail ends are designed to vanish neatly inside when you adjust the wind collar, so they don’t whip your face in high winds at the crux moment.
Storage is available in four good sized pockets. We’ve strategically placed two Napoleon pockets on the front of the jacket so that they won’t interfere with your climbing harness or backpack belts. Inside, you’ll find a security clip so you can attach a compass, map, or GPS device, then zip up the pocket completely to keep them dry. There’s also an inner security pocket and a deep mesh pocket, ideal for stashing bulky gloves when you’re fiddling with ropes or gear.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
