Paying homage to our earlier years, the Original Pile Jacket is a reinvention of our classic Double Pile Jacket with the addition of a full windproof lining.
The Original Pile Jacket is exceptionally durable, with a tough, Berber high pile fleece outer and 100% recycled Pertex® windproof lining. Designed to keep you warm when temperatures fall, features include two zipped handwarmer pockets, a double pile collar with shock cord adjustment, and front zip with storm flap and roll-over chin guard. Worn at crags, walls, and watering holes, this revised version of a classic fleece is a staple for long days outdoors in the cooler months.
How to measure.
Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.
While all our garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Slim: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.
Relaxed: Our more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
